According to Oxford Dictionary a mobile phone is a telephone with access to a cellular radio system so it can be used over a wide area, without a physical connection to a network (Oxford Dictionary, 2013).” It does so by connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile phone operator, allowing access to the public telephone network. By contrast, a cordless telephone is used only within the short range of a single, private base station.

Globalization has many aspects. Advances in transportation and telecommunications infrastructure, including the rise of the telegraph and its posterity the Internet, are major factors in globalization, generating further interdependence of economic and cultural activities The whole world is accepting and adopting the ways towards the advancement of technology (Faraz Ahmed Munis, 2009).
The human species' use of technology began with the conversion of natural resources into simple tools. Philosophical debates have arisen over the present and future use of technology in society, with disagreements over whether technology improves the human condition or worsens it. Technology can be most broadly defined as the entities, both material and immaterial, created by the application of mental and physical effort in order to achieve some value. Technology has been growing at a rapid rate to accommodate the needs and desires of people in obtaining a simpler lifestyle (Qazi Ahmad, 2008).

 One of the greatest technologies to hit the 21st century is the cell phone. Mobile technology has become a phenomenon in itself as it has introduced things altogether new to human life and has crossed many of the barriers considered impossible just a decade ago (Saleem Sethi, 2012).
 Mobile phone is a device that is used to make and receive calls. Calling the gadget that we carry in our pockets or purses a ‘mobile phone’ is becoming or has already become a misnomer. It is a smarter version of computer of which the function of traditional ‘telephony’ has become a very, very small part (Saleem Sethi, 2012). Some people carry more than one cell phone for different purposes, such as for business and personal use. Multiple SIM cards may also be  used to take advantage of the benefits of different calling plans—a particular plan might provide cheaper local calls, long-distance calls, international calls, or roaming. The mobile phone has also been used in a variety of diverse contexts in society. But apart from its technological side, mobile has now become a part of our lives without which we feel lost.  The social network is on a rise inevitably due to mobiles. And Pakistan ranks 5th in Asia in mobile phone usage as more than 100 million people are using mobile phones in the country, according to Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA). Around 10 million new connections were issued domestically last year, a private TV news channel reported. According to statistics released by the PTA, the number of mobile phone users in Pakistan has reached 131 million (Sharjeel Jamal, 2013).

 Now a days there are many packages existing in market with special discounts & unlimited SMS & late night call packages have been introduced, so due to this reason the providers of cellular services are having a closer look for the migration of Personal computer consumers to become the cell phone user. Late night call packages mostly targeted youth that influences mostly at the 11th hour of might to early in the morning round about at 7AM. Mostly all telecom services companies are doing so like

 In order to promote their packages the cellular companies are utilizing very attractive slogans. Some of the slogans are given below. The tagline used by the Jazz is “rat shuru baat shuru”; Zem, “infinite craze”; Djuice, “jagtay raho” etc. This study will try to investigate the negative impact of telecom services packages like late night call & unlimited SMS on the social psychological values of Pakistani youth. Cell phones have very bad effect on youth. Sleepless nights are very unhealthy for human body and this may cause serious mental disorder among students if they keep using late night call packages (Mudassar Nazir, Manan Aslam & Shafqat Rasool, 2013).
